Who we are

PageCove is a web design studio based in Ontario, Canada. We build websites for businesses of all kinds. You can reach us any time at info@pagecove.com.

What we collect

We only collect what you give us. When you fill in our contact form, we receive your name, email address, the name of your business, and whatever you write in the message. If you become a client and pay by card, the payment is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.

This website uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. It sets advertising cookies and sends Meta limited information about your visit, such as the pages you view and whether you submit our contact form. We use this only to measure and improve our advertising and to reach people who might want a website. We do not sell your information. You can opt out of personalised ads in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings, and you can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time.

Why we collect it

We use your details for one thing: to reply to you, build and discuss your site, and send you an invoice if you go ahead. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists you did not ask for.

Who we share it with

To run the business we rely on a few trusted services, and your information passes through them only as needed:

• Our contact form is delivered through Web3Forms, which forwards your message to our inbox.
• Card payments are processed by Stripe.
• We use the Meta Pixel for advertising measurement, so Meta receives limited information about visits to this site.
• Our website and your finished site are kept online by our hosting provider.

Some of these providers are based in the United States, so your information may be processed or stored outside Canada. We choose established providers and share only what each one needs to do its job, but we cannot control the laws of every country their servers sit in.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and client records for as long as we are working together and for a reasonable period afterward, mainly so we can answer questions and meet tax and bookkeeping requirements. If you would like us to delete your details and we are not required to keep them, just ask.

Your choices

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@pagecove.com and we will help. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Security

We keep your information on secure, well-established platforms and handle it with care. Payments run through Stripe, so your card details are encrypted and never stored by us, and we only hold the details we actually need to work with you.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
