Terms of service.
The agreement between you and PageCove when we build your site. By working with us, you agree to these terms.

Who we are
PageCove is a web design studio based in Ontario, Canada. These terms cover the websites we build and the care plan we offer. You can reach us at info@pagecove.com.
What we offer
We design and build websites, either a single complete page or a multi-page site, and we offer an optional monthly care plan for hosting and small content edits.
Single page builds
A single page is a one-time price, currently $500. There is no deposit. We build the page and show it to you finished on a private preview, with nothing to pay. If you approve it, you pay, and the site goes live once your payment is in. If you decide not to go ahead, you owe nothing and the page is not published.
Multi-page builds
Multi-page sites start at $1,500 and are quoted up front, so you see the full price before you commit. We build a free one-page demo first so you can judge the quality. Once you approve the design, the full build begins on a deposit of 50% of the quoted price, with the balance due at launch.
Payment, deposits, and refunds
- Quotes are valid for 30 days and are based on the page count and scope agreed up front.
- For a single page there is no deposit; you pay only if you approve the finished page.
- For a multi-page build, the deposit covers work already underway once the full build starts, so it is non-refundable from that point.
- We accept payment by card through Stripe and by Interac e-transfer.
- PageCove is a small supplier and is not currently registered for HST, so our prices do not include HST. If we register in the future, HST will be added to our prices and shown on your invoice.
Ownership
Once your invoice is paid in full, the finished website and its code are yours, and your domain name is registered to you or transferred into your name. Until full payment is made, the live site, the code, and the domain remain ours, and we may keep the work on a private preview rather than publish it.
The care plan
The care plan is $79 per month, or $790 per year, and covers hosting, security updates, and everyday content edits such as text, prices, hours, and photos. It does not cover new pages, redesigns, or custom features, which are quoted separately. You can cancel at any time; if you cancel, you are responsible for arranging your own hosting going forward.
What we need from you
To build your site well we need your real content: your photos, your business details, and timely answers to our questions. You are responsible for making sure the content and images you give us are accurate and that you have the right to use them. Delivery times are good-faith estimates and can shift if we are waiting on your content or feedback.
If a project stalls
If a project goes quiet on your side for an extended period, we may pause it and pick it back up when you are ready. For multi-page builds, any deposit already paid covers the work done up to that point.
Our responsibility
We take real care with every site, but we provide our work as is and cannot guarantee specific business results, search rankings, or uninterrupted uptime. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you have paid us, and we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost business.
Third-party services
Your site and our service rely on third parties such as Stripe for payments, Web3Forms for contact form delivery, and our hosting provider. Those services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for outages or issues on their end.
Privacy
How we handle your information is set out in our privacy policy.
These terms and our pricing page
Our pricing page is a summary to help you decide. If anything there ever seems to conflict with these terms, these terms are the ones that govern our agreement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada that apply there.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. The terms in place when we agree to a project are the ones that apply to that project.
